| Lions versus University of Northampton 1st After the disappointing loss at Nottingham, the Lions had two weeks to prepare for their first home game of the season against the Northampton University 1st team. But the Cambridge team were not to be denied the win, with Andrew Northern rebounding strongly and Owen Weller controlling the ball well in the closing stages. Cambridge won the game 64-55, and was encouraged by the overall performance of the team as well as pleasing displays from many new players. The Lions will play next week at Oxford Brookes. |
